Prime’s community engagement program includes a wide range of activities and investments to diversify our overall impact. From small teams feeding the homeless to a ten-year commitment to sponsor a local concert series, Prime is active and involved. in local communities.

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

Prime has procured Water Restoration Certificates from Bonneville to cover 120% of our previous year’s water consumption. This led to the restoration of an at-risk watershed. When it comes to being a good steward of our natural resources, Prime is committed.

JOB CREATION & TAX REVENUE

Today’s data center developments are massive undertakings meaning in many cases hundreds of multi-year construction jobs and permanent jobs like maintenance and security. Data centers and our customers generate tax revenue that can be transformative to industrial areas.

PRIME IN ACTION: ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION

30 PRIME-TIME PLAYERS PITCH IN TO RESTORE THE SHORES OF LAKE MARY

Coordinated by Prime’s Anna Smith (pictured to the right), thirty Prime-Time Players – including CEO Nicholas Laag and CFO Ulrich Pelz – took a Thursday morning to help restore the shores of Lake Mary in the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Refuge. Activities included trash collection, planting, and fence and stake removal.

The park is visited by thousands of nature enthusiasts every month and is home to numerous species of wildlife including a thriving buffalo herd, deer, raptors, songbirds, waterfowl, prairie dogs, and coyotes.

Denver, Colorado is home to Prime’s largest and fastest-growing regional office in the Rino district near downtown.

10-YEAR COMMITMENT AS SPONSOR OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE CONCERT SERIES

Elk Grove Village, Illinois mayor Craig Johnson is passionate about giving back to the residents and businesses that make up the data center capital of the midwest. This includes putting on a free-to-attend, summertime concert series to bring the community together.

Beginning in 2024, Prime committed to be the top corporate sponsor of the EGV concerts for the next ten years. Kicking things off was a July 4th celebration with 25,000+ residents in attendance, a special appearance from NASCAR’s Brad Keselowski, the legendary Beach Boys with John Stamos, and a fireworks spectacular to cap it all off.

Elk Grove Village is home to Prime’s 180MW Chicago data center campus.

When it comes to volunteering, Prime-Time Players engage as part of the larger business as well as on their personal time, supporting local organizations such as the Denver Rescue Mission and Children’s Hospital as well as unexpected causes such as victims of wildfire devastation.

Prime also is proud to support non-profit technology associations in our local communities such as the Colorado Technology Association, SpainDC, PortugalDC, DDI, NVTC, EUDCA and numerous others to help drive awareness of how the digital infrastructure industry can provide a rewarding career path for those looking for their next step. This includes Women in Tech / Women in Construction programs and 7×24 young professionals groups aimed at raising awareness within underrepresented talent segments.
