Summary

The Solutions Engineer I will be responsible for evaluating technical requirements from potential customers, either via RFPs or direct outreach. This role will partner with members of the sales team for each potential opportunity and will coordinate with design, development, and operations resources to gather information, specifications, drawings, and other pertinent information in support of responding to RFPs and/or providing proposals for customers, as well as work with Marketing to develop technical content for sales presentations, industry events, publications, and online resources.

This position will provide extremely relevant experience for recent entrants into the data center industry. It is intended as a development gateway to more senior positions in Design, Solutions Engineering and Project/Construction Management, and will be supported and mentored by senior design, engineering, construction, and operations staff members.

Location: Remote with preference to candidates in the Midwest or East Coast regions

Compensation:

A highly competitive annual earnings opportunity comprised of a base salary along with a performance-based bonus.

Job Details:

  • As part of an internal response team, receive, evaluate, and respond to Sales Engineering items on RFPs and RFIs
  • Gather site and equipment spec sheets, drawings, and other technical documentation required for responses
  • Participate in live or video conference meetings to clarify or present material about data center offerings
  • Attend data center industry events to understand customer requirements, industry developments, supplier technology, and capabilities
  • Travel to company sites and OEM facilities to facilitate strong relationships between the company and site contractors and suppliers
  • Collect, manage, and update, internal library of RFP questions/answers and specification documents that are regularly used for response documents
  • Contribute to and manage PowerPoint documents for Sales Engineering-specific subject matter
  • Maintain list of available capacity/footprint at existing company facilities
  • Maintain a list of potential development properties and acquisitions, and the status of each
  • Self-paced training to gain knowledge of MEP systems, civil and structural engineering, architecture, and commissioning as they result to data center development
  • Self-paced training to gain knowledge on facility BMS/EPMS/DCIM systems and security operational process and policy
  • Coordinate with company procurement specialist to summarize anticipated vs. required vs. ordered OFCI equipment, and impacts to current sales opportunities and/or site developments
  • Monitor project costs and schedule against contractual commitments
  • Attend regular Development status meetings and provide weekly summary of progress and issues to Sales to align on business objectives
  • Work with design team to understand category spend management opportunities, supply market and commodity trends, typical KPI’s for designers, contractors and professional service providers
  • Help develop RFP packages for design and contracting services and help coordinate competitive sourcing events to ensure structuring of commercial value, risk mitigation, and performances requirements are secured in a contract to protect the company’s interests
  • Monitor market supply chain conditions and anticipate needs of various projects to ensure ordering of OFCI equipment for just-in-time delivery to meet company timelines
  • Ensure the most up-to-date design standards are distributed to the OFCI suppliers to deliver the products as specified
  • Obtain OFCI equipment submittals to support the design, specification, and process approval for each assigned project as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be highly proficient in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint/Teams
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Visio/Bluebeam a plus
  • Must be able to collaborate with other team members both in person and remotely
  • Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize workloads based on deliverable due dates, customer-facing vs. internal deliverables, etc.
  • Light travel may be required

Summary:

The Senior Accountant (SA) will provide account support to the Controller. The SA also works in collaboration with the accounting and finance team to maintain accurate financial records through managing all accounts payable and receivable as well as all ledgers.

Location: Dallas, Texas

Reports to: Controller

Compensation:

A highly competitive annual earnings opportunity comprised of a base salary along with a performance-based bonus.

Job Details:

  • Develops and maintains procedural documentation for the department
  • Manages the month-end process and recommends ways to reduce close timeline
  • Reconciles GL accounts each month, quarter, and year to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Performs monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepares documentation for external auditors
  • Assists with the preparation and filing of tax returns

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field; or equivalent experience as an Accountant
  • US GAAP knowledge
  • Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel; including Vlookups and Pivot tables
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work without close supervision

The Vice President of Enterprise Sales (VPE) will work in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to author and execute Prime Data Center’s (Prime) enterprise specific go-to-market strategy to achieve corporate and per asset / location revenue plans. This requires a sophisticated deal developer with demonstrated history of successfully navigating complex Hyperscale and Cloud Platform unique decision-making environments.

The VPE will guide Prime to achieve revenue objectives along with the SLT to build a thought leading, progressive, world-class business. The VPE is expected to instill an environment of positive innovation, possibilities, and conviction for Prime and their customers. Job Details:

Revenue and Customer Engagement

  • The VPE is directly accountable for Prime’s revenue creation and achieving agreed upon performance benchmarks and milestones.
  • Be strategic, think around corners, organize the team, interact with industry influencers, decision makers, existing clients, and targeted prospects.
  • Develop and implement sales infrastructure, systems, and KPI / metrics for success in the anticipated winning of 10’s of MWs of new leveraged infrastructure annually.
  • Manage key client relationships and actively participate in developing and closing strategic opportunities.
  • Exceed client expectations by encouraging extreme customer orientation. Every behavior and engagement should contribute to an elevated level of client satisfaction.

Strategy

  • Develop expertise in Prime’s Partnership as a Service philosophy, approach, and capabilities.
  • The VPE is expected to think ahead, look around corners, and effectively navigate Prime to achieve near term revenue objectives while assuring long term revenue pipelines.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting; define, analyze, and interpret key sales metrics; track, manage and maximize team effectiveness.
  • Establish successful sales and marketing campaigns that support extreme customer engagement initiatives which effectively educate and transfer knowledge.
  • Guide necessary adaptations to product and service offerings.

Executive Management

  • Provide organizational leadership as a member of the Prime executive team; participate and represent Prime sales activities in strategy meetings where applicable.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and personal integrity in making decisions, maintaining citizenship, ensuring accuracy, and providing transparency.

  • Go to Market – History of authoring a go-to-market strategy, whether as an individual contributor or leading a team, which was subsequently implemented, executed on, and resulted in measurable corporate value creation and an enduring legacy of success.
  • Financial Acumen in an Invested Environment – A high data center economics business acumen to creatively model solutions, identify customer’s levers, and execute when the time is right. Understands and balances the financial stake with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Growth – Effective leadership, conviction, and courageous decision making at scale in a high growth environment requires a unique blend of humility, conviction, and courage. The VPE primary charter is to grow revenue, first and foremost, however that may be defined.
  • Collaboration – Effective deals and relationship development manifest in the delivery of the final product ensuring the customer’s integration and coordination with finance, design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations … all on time and budget.
